Vladimir Putin welcomed Queen Sirikit of Thailand to the Kremlin. The Queen is in Moscow on a state visit

The official meeting ceremony took place in the Georgievsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitrii Medvedev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Regional Development Minister Vladimir Iakovlev, head of Roskultura Mikhail Shvydkoi, and Governor of St Petersburg Valentina Matvienko participated in the ceremony.

Vladimir Putin then had a conversation with Queen Sirikit in the Winter Garden. After their discussion Vladimir Putin and Queen Sirikit attended an official dinner given by the Russian head of state in honour of the Queen of Thailand in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

The Queeen's state visit is taking place during the 110th anniversary of the establishment of Russian-Thai diplomatic relations.
