In his message, the President stressed Russia’s determination to carry on energetic efforts to settle the crisis as soon as possible, and revive the Arab-Israeli peace process. He called to solve the situation in Iraq by political and diplomatic means on the basis of relevant resolutions by the United Nations.

Yevgeny Primakov, leader of the United Russia/Fatherland parliamentary group, passed the message to the King while on a diplomatic mission to Jordan.
