As he opened the meeting Vladimir Putin pointed out that Russia and Saudi Arabia have very promising joint economic projects.
The Russian head of state also emphasised that their countries’ relations are developing in practically all areas: in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
During the meeting they discussed various aspects of Russian-Saudi Arabian bilateral relations and a potential Middle Eastern settlement.
