“The traditional friendly relations between our countries have deep roots. Russia appreciates a high level of accord and partnership which are being built on the basis of a Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation signed in 1994.
The president expressed confidence that the constructive and fruitful Russian-Italian cooperation, which met the interests of the peoples of the two countries, would continue to promote a climate of confidence and security in Europe.
