During the meeting the participants discussed the funding for the social sector and wage increases for social workers. Aid for orphans and disabled children was also on the agenda.
The President spoke in favour of developing the current social security services by stressing that the government’s image is influenced to a great extent by the progress in this sector.
Mr. Putin instructed the government to evaluate the meeting results and to develop measures to improve the situation in this field.
