The message reads, in part:

“Space exploration is at present one of the most dynamically developing activities in the world, and Russia can offer the international community cooperation in this area with the use of the most advanced technologies. I am glad that Australia is becoming a partner in this sphere.

“The signing of the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the development and peaceful use of outer space is concrete evidence of the serious intentions of the two sides.”
