The Russian President’s message said, in part:

“We are convinced that the course pursued by the Moldovan leadership towards civil accord, strengthening the democratic principles of the state and solution of the problems of socio-economic development will help to tap more fully cooperation potential of our countries.

“Russian-Moldovan cooperation is a key factor of stability in the region. We intend to further develop our relations on the firm basis of a pragmatic and mutually beneficial partnership.”
