Mr Putin and Mr Rogozin discussed the agenda for the upcoming meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly Council of Europe (PACE), which is due to begin next week, the Russian position as regards to the Chechen settlement and the fight against international terrorism.
They also discussed the State Duma’s proposal concerning specific opportunities for the Chechen settlement, as well as possible consultations between all power branches in the context of the US decision to withdraw from the Anti-Ballistic Missile (ABM) Treaty.
