While speaking at a meeting of the Legislators Council devoted to this topic, Vladimir Putin highlighted several key points.

First of all, the personnel training system must coincide with the labour market's current needs.

Secondly, it is necessary to increase the appeal of various professions and make training available for those areas in which there is a certain personnel deficit.

Thirdly, Russia needs to adapt the standards of vocational training to suit industry's needs.
