“I send my greetings to the participants and organisers of the International Congress of Children’s Volunteers, marking the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Children’s Foundation.

Over these years, the Foundation has gained considerable authority and proven itself to be a real public force providing effective and sometimes absolutely vital help to thousands of children. The Foundation’s work has made it possible to successfully carry out major healthcare and education and programmes and establish family-type children’s homes.

I am sure that the decisions the Congress adopts will be important for continuing practical work.

I wish you good health, ongoing success and all the very best”.
