”During all these years representatives of the Association have engaged in productive activities to enhance mutual understanding and multifaceted cooperation with our great neighbour, the People's Republic of China. People's diplomacy has been key in helping preserve the traditionally good feelings that the inhabitants of Russia and China harbour towards one another, as well as helping normalize intergovernmental relations and allowing them to achieve a trusting partnership and strategic cooperation.
It is significant that the Society is celebrating its anniversary within the highly acclaimed Year of China in Russia, and your direct involvement has contributed to the success of this event. I am sure that you will continue to make a significant contribution to developing multifaceted Russian-Chinese relations.“
