The President inquired about the state of affairs in the company and the situation on the oil and gas market, and the relations between Rosneft and Gazprom in the light of Rosneft’s increased gas production.

According to Sergei Bogdanchikov, his company had laid down the main principles for addressing the problems with the new Gazprom leadership.

Sergei Bogdanchikov told the President that the oil and gas industry of Chechnya had been fully restored, and that oil production had reached its former level. The oil and gas sector in the republic employs more than 5,000 people, 95% of them are citizens of Chechnya.
