The President and the Justice Minister discussed the bills prepared by the Government to improve legislation in the fight against extremism. Vladimir Putin urged the Minister to cooperate more closely with the various parties in the State Duma in moving the bills forward.
Yury Chaika said that in line with the President’s instructions, the Government had introduced proposals to the State Duma on making criminal law more humane.
