The law enables the ratification of the Russian-Mongolian bilateral agreement on legal assistance and legal relations in civil and criminal matters signed in Ulan Bator on April 20, 1999, and the protocol to the agreement, signed in Ulan Bator on September 12, 2002.
In accordance with the agreement, the citizens of one enjoy the same legal protection of their person and property on the other party’s territory as the citizens of that party.
