The heads of state discussed the implementation of the Russian-Kazakh Joint Action Plan for 2007–2008, as well as the agreements reached in Novosibirsk October 4, 2007 at a meeting of leaders from regions bordering the two countries.
During the discussions, they also considered cooperation in international affairs between Kazakhstan and Russia.
