In order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation in the field of fisheries and to enhance the effectiveness with which the international treaties of the Russian Federation that concern fisheries are implemented, the State Committee for Fisheries is permitted to have representatives in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea, and the Kingdom of Morocco. The State Committee is also allowed to send its representatives to serve on diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Denmark, Canada, the People's Republic of China, the Kingdom of Norway and the United States of America without counting these representatives as part of the authorized personnel of these delegations.
