The President’s message states that the Russian-Mongolian Business Forum is an important event in the political, business and public life of both countries. The event has particular significance, Mr Putin said, in that it is taking place under the aegis of Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar.

Mr Putin noted that the forum’s participants will be exchanging views on ways to strengthen cooperation in border regions and in the investment and finance sectors, and will also outline new horizons for work together in the mining, metals, electricity production and other sectors.

The President said that direct dialogue between business community representatives will give new impetus to developing the trade and economic partnership between Russia and Mongolia.
