The heads of state exchanged New Year’s greetings and sent warm wishes to the people of Russia and Finland.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress made this year in developing Russian-Finnish cooperation, characterised by a shared eagerness to have all issues solved in a good neighbourly manner. They expressed a mutual drive to work to sustain the high level of bilateral relations.
The conversation took place at Finnish initiative.
