The head of state's seventh annual press conference lasted four hours and forty minutes, that is one hour and eight minutes longer than 2007.
80 journalists asked the President questions.
More than 1,300 journalists received accreditation for the head of state's press conference, including around 200 foreign journalists.
The press conference was broadcast live on Pervyi Kanal and Rossiya, the Russian news channel Vesti-24, and on Radio Mayak and Radio Rossiya stations.
