The President of Russia's message of congratulations reads, in part:

“I am confident that under your leadership the friendly Chinese people will reach new successes in the country's social and economic development and keep increasing its authority among the international community. I remember our meetings, which were always characterized by a frank atmosphere and important practical outcomes, with great warmth. I am pleased to note that in recent years we have achieved impressive results in the political, economic, cultural, educational and other aspects of our bilateral relations.

I would like to reiterate Russia's commitment to deepening our strategic partnership with China in a comprehensive way, and to do so for the benefit of our peoples, in the interests of strengthening international peace and security, and building a just multipolar world order.”
