The meeting ended with the adoption of a Russia-U.S. Strategic Framework Declaration summing up all that has been accomplished in the two countries’ relations over these last years.

The two Presidents then held a press conference and answered questions from the media.

This was followed by a working breakfast during which Mr Putin and Mr Bush continued discussing issues on the international agenda. Mr Bush also spoke with Russian President-Elect Dmitry Medvedev.
