The President participated in the celebrations devoted to the 85th anniversary of the Central Sports Club of the Army (CSKA) that were held in the Club's main facilities on Leningradskii Avenue.
First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov, Defense Minister Anatolii Serdiukov, head of the Federal Agency for Physical Training and Sports Viacheslav Fetisov, famous athletes and public figures, and representatives of the Russian Olympic movement attended the celebrations.
The club was founded on 29 April 1923.
