Dmitry Medvedev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko reached an agreement in principle on holding a meeting of the Russian-Belarusian Union State Supreme State Council at the end of January or early February next year in Moscow.
The two Presidents have given instructions to draft the agenda for the upcoming meeting.
Mr Medvedev and Mr Lukashenko held talks on December 22 at the Kremlin.
