Participants in the meeting included Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, chairman of the Council of Russian Muftis, Talgat Tadzhuddin, chairman of the Central Muslim Spiritual Directorate, and Ismail Berdiev, chairman of the Coordination Centre of Muslims of the North Caucasus. Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Naryshkin also participated in the meeting.
The meeting took place at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. The President toured the mosque and visited the construction site for a new complex.
