Dmitry Medvedev sent his greetings on Nuclear Industry Day to professionals and veterans in the nuclear sector.
The message reads, in part:
“For decades, the nuclear industry has played an important role in our country’s economy and defence capabilities. Thanks to your dedicated work, Russia is in a highly competitive position in nuclear energy and fusion research, as well as the design of spacecraft and nuclear medicine.
Today, it is imperative to fully open this sector’s innovative potential, using it to modernise and develop our nation. We must pay particular attention to ensuring security and safety at nuclear facilities.
I am certain that your professionalism, rich practical experience, and responsible attitudes toward your duties will help to resolve new ambitious challenges.”
