The telegram reads, in part:

”Your meeting, taking place with the support of Sberbank of Russia and other large companies, has traditionally been distinguished by a topical, truly 'pressing' agenda, the range of its representatives, and the authoritative nature of its participants. They include domestic and foreign business leaders, representatives of various government authorities, and of the academic community.

Today, as large-scale economic transformations are underway in Russia, it is important to consider both positive and critical expert opinions. This refers to improving the business climate and administrative procedures, as well as strengthening confidence in the banking sector and the reliability of the financial and credit system as a whole. I would emphasise that when adopting crucial government measures relating to economic and investment policy, we intend to draw on the views of entrepreneurs themselves, both foreign and domestic investors. It is therefore encouraging that your annual forum has become a platform for just such an interested and productive dialogue.“

The Russia Forum is an annual business event dedicated to showcasing Russia and is held in Moscow.
