The subject of discussion was the law on establishing a new state corporation, Russian Highways, which was signed by the President earlier in the day.
Igor Levitin pointed out that the law now in force will allow attracting private investors to construction of top class highways thus contributing to countering crisis. According to the Transport Minister, two first concession agreements should be signed by August 1, 2009.
