Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Moscow, which is examining Russia’s economic prospects and competitiveness, President Vladimir Putin said that successful economic development requires the state to become more effective

There needs to be a move away from unjustified state regulation and excessive interference in the economy.

One of the main aims of administrative reform is to make the state apparatus more attuned to the needs of society, the economy and business.

Administrative regulations will be drawn up and introduced that will bring greater transparency to the state agencies and the decision-making process.

Today, all the conditions are in place for Russia to become a full member of the community of economically developed countries. The Russian economy has shown consistent, sustainable and intensive growth over recent years.
