The law was passed by the State Duma on July 17, 2009, and approved by the Federation Council on July 18, 2009.
It makes provisions for adding to the relevant Labour Code articles the concept of “occupational safety standards” and stipulates that occupational safety standards are part of the state labour protection requirements.
