During their telephone conversation Dmitry Medvedev wished Yunus-Bek Yevkurov a swift recovery and return to service.
Mr Yevkurov told Mr Medvedev that he is on the mend and ready to resume his duties as President of Ingushetia.
Mr Yevkurov is being treated in a Moscow hospital. On June 22 a car filled with explosives exploded as the President of Ingushetia’s convoy passed by. The President of Ingushetia was seriously injured in the incident.
