Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the head of the House of Saud, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud on the deaths of a large number of pilgrims during ritual activities in the Mina valley held on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Muslim Feast of the Sacrifice.
The President conveyed words of sincere sympathy to the families and friends of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.
