Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The two leaders discussed the situation in Syria. In this context, Mr Putin briefed Mr Erdogan on the results of a visit to Moscow the previous evening by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
