Vladimir Putin visited the centre’s main facilities and talked to participants in the final project session. The project session gives students an opportunity to use what they learned to solve real-life challenges and carry out hands-on projects developed in cooperation with major universities and companies.
The President familiarised himself with the students’ work on a range of topics that included space, healthcare and environmental protection.
During the visit, President Putin was shown equipment to study seawater developed with the participation of Sirius students. He was also told about the projects “Adapting Space to Human Life” and “Safe Smart House”, as well as systems that predict diseases.
The President also attended a concert put on by the students of the Sirius educational centre, featuring performances in dance, piano and wind instruments.
