Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival.
The message reads, in part:
“Moscow once again extends a warm welcome to guests from all over the world and provides them with its best concert venues to perform. However, the principal and the most spectacular events will take place, as always, on Red Square. Here, by the ancient Kremlin walls, military bands, guards of honour and original folklore groups will show their brilliant skills. I cannot fail to mention the festival's charitable, educational programme and the organisers' sincere wish to create a special creative environment for the younger audience members.
I am certain that this year's festival will be, as always, a success, leaving the audience with vivid and lasting impressions.”
