The message reads:

“In recent years our joint efforts have managed to establish progressive development in Russian-Moldovan relations. We are ready to further deepen our strategic partnership in all areas, and strengthen the existing friendship and understanding between our peoples for the benefit of both Russia and Moldova.

I would also like to use this occasion to congratulate you on the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Moldova from Nazi invaders that is being celebrated during these days. This date is a sacred one for our countries. The Jassy-Kishinev offensive in 1944 is vivid historical evidence of the spirit of self-sacrifice and our strong fraternal ties. We pay tribute to all those who participated in this feat for the sake of the freedom and prosperity of future generations.”
