“Russia and Kyrgyzstan are bound by strong traditions of friendship, trust and constructive cooperation,” Mr Medvedev said in his message. “I am pleased that at our recent meeting at Issyk Kul we reaffirmed our unchanged mutual desire to strengthen our strategic partnership and alliance and, in these aims, carry out the bilateral agreements we have reached. I am sure that our joint efforts will continue to contribute to the rapid development of ties between our countries for the good of our people and in the interests of stability and security in Central Asia.”
