Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Uzbekistan.
The message reads, in part:
“Over these past years, our bilateral ties have reached the level of strategic partnership. We are actively developing our political dialogue and our productive cooperation in trade, the economy, science and technology, humanitarian, and other areas. Our countries work together effectively to resolve current issues on the regional and international agenda.
I am certain that, through our joint efforts, we will ensure the development of the entire range of our bilateral relations for the benefit of our friendly peoples and in the interest of strengthening peace, security and stability in Central Asia”.
