Dmitry Medvedev expressed his condolences to Abdullah Gul following the flood in Istanbul, which wreaked destruction and killed several people.

The telegram reads, in part:

“I would like to express my sincere condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, those who have suffered as a result of this tragedy, and the entire Turkish nation.”
