Vladimir Putin congratulated Nadezhda Konovalova and Nikolai Teply on winning the skeet mixed team event at the ISSF World Championship Shotgun.
The message reads, in part:
“You have shown the best result while competing against worthy opponents and won another gold medal for Russian fans on the last day of the championship. This triumph is a well-deserved reward for your hard work and prominent talent.”
The ISSF World Championship Shotgun took place in Dmitrov outside Moscow on September 1–10. It brought together around 700 athletes from 76 countries.
