Vladimir Putin has sent greetings to organisers, participants and guests of the 25th Zodchestvo International Festival of Architecture.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the years, this forum has established itself as a popular and respected networking platform for architects from design institutes, design bureaus, and students from architecture schools from across the country. The festival’s competition entries are invariably fresh and innovative. They offer functional approaches to space development, landscaping, and hence, to improvements in the quality of life.
I am certain that during your creative discussions you will address best practices both in urban construction and in the restoration and renovation of historical landmarks, which will definitely be realised in future projects and will also contribute to the preservation of Russian architecture’s remarkable traditions.”
The Festival is taking place in Moscow on October 5–7.
