In the course of a telephone conversation with President of Argentina Mauricio Macri Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences over the situation with the San Juan submarine missing in the Atlantic Ocean.
The President of Russia offered search and rescue assistance. The two leaders have agreed that their defence departments will maintain contact in this context.
They also discussed current aspects of the further development of Russian-Argentinean relations.
