The President’s message said, in particular:

“As the most active and mobile group in society, young people adapt to change faster and absorb new knowledge easier. Your sense of purpose and desire to be of use to your country will do much to determine Russia’s progressive development.

Russia today has great need of well-educated and creative people able to show initiative and take bold and original decisions. One of the priorities of the state’s youth affairs policy is to give our young people the chance to develop their potential, take a worthy place in life and make their mark in state and public work, science and culture”.
