The President signed the Executive Order On Presenting the 2017 Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Human Rights and the Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Charitable Work.
After examining the proposals made by the Presidential Public Commission on Nominating Candidates for the Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Human Rights and the Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievementsin Charitable Work, the President made the decision to:
1. Confer the 2017 Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Human Rights and the honorary title of winner of the National Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Human Rights on Lyudmila Alekseeva, Chairperson of the Moscow Helsinki Group.
2. Confer the 2017 Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Charitable Work and the honorary title of winner of the Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Charitable Work on Vladimir Vavilov, Board Chairman of the Anzhela Vavilova Regional Public Charity Foundation for Children with Leukaemia, Republic of Tatarstan.
