Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to participants of the 6th Russia-Kyrgyzstan Inter-Regional Conference in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The message reads, in part:
“Your meetings traditionally involve representatives of central and local authorities, public organisations, business circles and expert communities from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, who make a substantial contribution to strengthening the relations of strategic partnership between our countries and facilitate the development of mutually beneficial integration processes in Eurasia.
Today’s agenda includes current development issues of inter-regional ties in agriculture, the latest technology, transport, infrastructure and logistics support. I hope that your discussions will be informative and interesting, and will help you draft new concepts and initiatives on further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the friendly nations of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.”
