The meeting discussed the results of the Council’s analysis of civil legislation, and the possibilities for amendments to the Civil Code taking into account the way it is applied and interpreted by the courts in practice.
Participants at the Council meeting included Presidential Adviser and Council Chairman Veniamin Yakovlev, Presidential Aide and Head of the Presidential State-Legal Directorate Larisa Brychyova, President of the Supreme Arbitration Court Anton Ivanov, Deputy Prosecutor General Sabir Kekhlerov, Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina, judges from the Constitutional and Supreme Courts and others.
