On November 13–15, the Russian President will visit Singapore to attend the summit of Russia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the 13th East Asia Summit (EAS).
On November 13, Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong. The leaders will discuss the current status of Russia-Singapore relations and prospects for their further development. A number of bilateral documents will be signed following the meeting.
The Russian President is also to meet with President of Singapore Halimah Yacob and participate with her in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Russian Cultural Centre and an Orthodox church.
On November 14, the participants of the Russia-ASEAN summit will discuss ways of promoting trade, investment and humanitarian cooperation and developing ASEAN interaction with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). They are also to exchange views on major international and regional issues.
At the 13th EAS, the participants will discuss ways of consolidating regional security, countering terrorism and enhancing cooperation in healthcare, high technology and environmental protection.
In addition, Vladimir Putin will conduct a number of bilateral meetings with the foreign leaders taking part in the EAS.
