Vladimir Putin held talks with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the Kremlin.
During the consultations, the presidents discussed key aspects of bilateral relations, prospects for integration across Eurasia and topical issues concerning the regional agenda.
This is Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s first official visit to Russia since his inauguration as the President of Kazakhstan on March 20, 2019.
Following the summit, the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan adopted a joint statement. In addition, a package of documents was signed, dealing, among other things, with the development of industrial, scientific and technical cooperation.
Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also made statements for the press.
