Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants and guests of the 2019 New Wave Junior international contest for young pop music performers.
The message reads, in part:
“This high-profile creative forum invariably attracts a lot of attention and is known for its marvellous traditions and excellence of its participants.
Over the past years, a number of wonderful and unique talents have been discovered at the New Wave Junior contest, which helps youngsters fully unleash their potential and show their skills.
I strongly believe that this year’s contest will be a success, offering young performers from around the world an opportunity to perform on the famous Artek stage, get to know Crimea’s nature and landmarks, enjoy its hospitality, and find new friends.”
