The agenda of the summit includes discussion of the  Background information Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) SCO’s further development, promotion of practical cooperation on ensuring security and stability in Eurasia, and expansion of economic and humanitarian ties of the SCO member states.

Following the discussion, the participants plan to adopt a substantial package of documents, including the Bishkek Declaration.

Vladimir Putin is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings with foreign leaders.
