The President met with residents of the Irkutsk Region who took part in relief efforts following flash floods in the region, as well as with flood victims.
Before the meeting, Vladimir Putin talked to Tulun residents who gathered in the street and were waiting for him. Among other things, the President promised to keep the emergency situation regime in place until questions related to providing housing for disaster victims are resolved.
